Signý is an Award-winning photographer whose work has been featured internationally in books, magazines and movies, as well as fine art prints and gallery shows. She specialises in portrait photography, fashion, products and advertising, and other commercial work. Signý is originally from Iceland but has rotated between New Zealand, Los Angeles and London for the past 20 years. 

While working as a casting and location scout in Iceland, she developed a passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail. She has worked on film sets and in Post, on location and in the studio in both motion pictures and still photography. Drawing from experience both in front of and behind the camera, Signý loves working with new models and understands what goes into capturing an indelible moment to create a stand-out image. She is as comfortable working in available light as she is shooting with a full lighting package, and having also spent several years working at Weta FX in New Zealand, she has extensive experience in Post-Production.

Today Signý’s main focus is Commercial Photography in Iceland and Europe. She is creative, enthusiastic, decisive, and always excited to collaborate with other passionate people to create striking, beautiful images.
